Thought Bubble: (I’m starting a blog that represents living life and taking risks)
It only made sense to take my savings and buy a plane ticket to somewhere I’ve never been before, (Portland, Oregon).
I took a risk reaching out to network with an artist involved in the music industry. I emailed them, hoping to land a meeting and the next day BOOM, I got a reply. I immediately bought my plane ticket after reading “I’d love to make this happen.”
Keep in mind: at this point I’m working random and odd jobs to make somewhat of an income.
This isn’t a typical decision the majority of people would make, in my shoes especially. They would choose to save money, I instead choose to go on an adventure.
Except for the meeting and his concert, I had no itinerary planned but to experience Portland.
*Shout out to Zack, Haley and Shannon for letting me crash on their couch! Y’all rawk.
“After a day and a half of traveling, (delayed flights and not sleeping), I landed at the famous PDX. Local time 10.32 AM.”

I took a risk, taking this trip. But I won’t have to look back thinking “what if” because I did it. I ventured to taste Voodoo Donuts, took the train through downtown, experienced the many different cultures on Hawthorne, and spent hours (yes, hours) at Powell’s (the downtown one ;).
I will make more decisions like this Portland adventure. To take every opportunity and live by the ABC’s (adventurous, brave, creative). To be a little more – noteworthy.
